Kilta (a guild) series by Kaj Franck had it’s designing started in 1946. It was designed to be multifunctional and could be stacked to fit in small city kitchens. It uses basic forms and is decorated with only a coloured glazing. A jug or a bowl for serving sauce, dressing or gravy. This traditional Kilta sauceboat / sauce bowl has some imperfections. The yellow coloured glazing is a bit uneven - at some parts there are tiny lumps or pinholes. The unglazed bottom ring has minor chipping. The sauceboat does not have a stamp on the bottom.
