Kilta (a guild) series by Kaj Franck had it’s designing started in 1946. It was designed to be multifunctional and could be stacked to fit in small city kitchens. It uses basic forms and is decorated with only a coloured glazing. A plate mainly for soup, that can also be used as a bowl for cereal or pasta. Heat-resistant oven dish or a small casserole, suitable for cooking food in an oven. You can serve it directly from the oven to the table and even keep it in a refrigerator. This part of the series is much rarer than the others. Buy it while it is in stock as finding new stock will probably take a while! These cute soup bowls are in good vintage condition, but there are some minor signs of wear and tiny scratches. There are also some imperfections, such as: the coloured glazing might be a bit uneven and might be a few tiny darker spots. Some of the plates do not have stamps at the bottom.
