Kilta (a guild) series by Kaj Franck had it’s designing started in 1946. It was designed to be multifunctional and could be stacked to fit in small city kitchens. It uses basic forms and is decorated with only a coloured glazing. A Jug/pitcher is a vessel for serving water, tea, coffee, milk, juice or beer at meal time. You can also use it for serving liquid seasoning, or as a vase for flowers. This impressive Kilta pitcher has some sings of wear and scratches on the surface.
