Arabia has been producing Lighthouse mugs since 2002. These seasonal Teema mugs are collectibles and produced in limited small series and they showcase the lighthouses of the Finnish archipelago. Only 2000 Bengtskär mugs were produced by Arabia in 2014. Teema (theme) series is based on familiar and basic geometric shapes: the circle, square and rectangle. A mug is a larger type of cup typically used for drinking hot beverages, such as coffee, hot chocolate, soup, or tea. A mug is a less formal type of drinkware, and is not usually used in a formal table setting.
