Faenza (a town in Northern Italy, birthplace of faience ceramics) comes in four variations in decoration; with flowers printed in brown or blue, and with stripes either in yellow-and-black or black alone. Arabia Faenza adds bold designs to a simple functional shape. It is a clever combination of 1950s Finnish mid-century modernism and the 1970s graphic style. Faenza's design won the gold medal in Italy in 1971 at the Faenza Ceramic Biennale. You can combine the floral and striped variations of the Faenza decoration to create contrast between natural and geometric shapes. This design made by Inkeri Seppälä will bring a modern nordic touch to your home. An egg holder for eating a boiled egg. These cute vintage eggcups have some minor signs of wear, such as white spots on the print. They have some minor imperfections from production, such as: the glazing might have a few tiny pinholes and black dots. The additional photos show examples.
